By JD Lagrange – In The System has become a very popular feature with our readers. This week, let’s see how the team’s top prospects are progressing. The far right column shows how the players are trending based on the previous week. Remember that this is in no way some expert dissection and in-depth analysis, but rather an overview at one point in time about how those young prospects are producing at their respective level.

The Canadiens have traded Nate Schnarr to the Los Angeles Kings for 24 year-old right-handed defenseman Frederic Allard, who has joined the big club in Las Vegas yesterday due to Kaiden Guhle’s shoulder injury.
Joshua Roy had a pretty good week but the prospect that stepped up the most was young defenseman Lane Hutson. Miguël Tourigny had a very productive week as well, bringing his production to 0.62 points per game.
Much like the Canadiens out west, it’s been a more difficult week for most of their prospects.
Justin Barron (injured), Jesse Ylönen and Rafaël Harvey-Pinard are still with the Canadiens.
