By JD Lagrange – In The System has become a very popular feature with our readers. This week, let’s see how the team’s top prospects are progressing. The far right column shows how the players are trending based on the previous week. Remember that this is in no way some expert dissection and in-depth analysis, but rather an overview at one point in time about how those young prospects are producing at their respective level.

Jared Davidson, Lane Hutson and Logan Mailloux had a fantastic week. I have also decided to add William Trudeau to the list, he who has 8 assists in his last 10 games with the Laval Rocket.
Mailloux had four goals and an assist this week, including the hat trick goal on… the Michigan!
Goaltenders
And now, to the organization’s goaltending prospects…
NAME | TEAM | LEAGUE | GP | GAA | Sv% | TREND |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Jakub Dobes | Ohio State Univ. | NCAA | 28 | 2.25 | .919 | ⬇️ |
Emmett Croteau | Waterloo Black Hawks | USHL | 13 | 2.87 | .897 | ➡️ |
Cayden Primeau | Laval Rocket | AHL | 18 | 3.45 | .895 | ⬆️ |
Frederik Dichow | Frölunda HC | SHL | 12 | 3.12 | .895 | ⬆️ |
Joe Vrbetic | Trois-Rivières Lions | ECHL | 18 | 3.60 | .880 | ➡️ |
Laval Rocket | AHL | 4 | 4.05 | .871 | ➡️ |
The goaltending remains an area of concern for the Canadiens’ depth chart.
