By JD Lagrange – Just how are the Montreal Canadiens’ prospects doing, you asked? In this the second edition of this new feature, let’s see how the team’s top prospects are progressing. You will notice that we’ve added a column to show how the players are trending based on the previous stats. Remember that this is in no way some expert dissection and in-depth analysis, but rather an overview at one point in time about how those young prospects are producing at their respective level.
Skaters

Joshua Roy, Riley Kidney, Sean Farrell, Cedrick Guindon and Vinzenz Rohrer all had an outstanding week, improving on their already impressive points per game. Xavier Simoneau, Jesse Ylönen and Rhett Pitlick also had a very good week.
At the other end of the spectrum, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard and Jan Mysak in Laval are having a very disappointing season thus far and both guys’ production – which wasn’t great to start with – has regressed.
