
According to TSN NHL Insider Darren Dreger on TSN 690 radio, teams are calling the Montreal Canadiens for Joel Armia.
Armia, who was a beast and key component in last season’s Cinderella playoffs’ push by the Canadiens, is not having a good season. He is one of the few players who has not turned his season around under new coach Martin St-Louis. In 41 games this season, he has only managed two goals and seven points. The 28 year old is in the first of a new four-year deal with a cap hit of $3.4 million.
