TVA Sports asked their hockey analysts whom, on the Montreal Canadiens, they would shop around in trades and which one they would keep. It made for some interesting talks but frankly, some couldn’t be more obvious. Here’s what they would do…
ANALYST | TRADE | KEEP |
---|---|---|
Renaud Lavoie | Jake Allen | Brendan Gallagher |
Patrick Lalime | Jonathan Drouin | Nick Suzuki |
Felix Seguin | Joel Armia | Artturi Lehkonen |
Louis Jean | Carey Price | Dominique Ducharme |
Guillaume Latendresse | Jeff Petry | Ryan Poehling |
Maxime Lapierre | Ben Chiarot | Alexander Romanov |
For the sake of argument, here are my picks. But I will stay away from the obvious like Nick Suzuki or Alexander Romanov staying and Ben Chiarot being traded, which are some very, very obvious choices.
TRADE: Jonathan Drouin – I won’t get into a bashing rant but I’ve given up on him.
KEEP: Jeff Petry – The Canadiens lack quality RD and I believe he can and will bounce back.
What are yours?
