Habs Scouting The Blackhawks? Scout spotted in Chicago

Charlie Roumelioris of NBC Sports in Chicago reported that 15 NHL teams had scouts at Friday’s game when the Blackhawks faced the Canucks: Anaheim, Arizona, Boston, Buffalo, Calgary, Florida, Minnesota, Montreal, Nashville, N.Y. Islanders, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Tampa Bay (2) and Winnipeg.

We know that center Dylan Strome has been in trade rumours and he was playing his first game of the season, which many people think was to showcase him to potential buyers.

We also know that the Canadiens are in need of a third line center as the Jake Evans experiment is not turnout out the way they hoped, and Ryan Poehling was sent down to Laval in the AHL. They picked up Adam Brooks but in the one game he played, he did not look good (although neither did the team).

The Canadiens are facing the Canucks but not until November 29th.
